Each user of the Trader's Diary can customize the service "for himself". In this article we will talk about working with the Profile Window and its settings.
The profile window opens by clicking on the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen and contains both visual and global diary settings.
Е-mail
The user's e-mail is displayed here. It is used to log in to the account, emails from the Trader's Diary team are sent to it.
By default, the user's e-mail is hidden. To display it, click on the eye-shaped icon.
Language and theme of the diary
Language and visual theme changes are available from the Profile Window. They help to make the diary display more convenient.
After clicking on one of these items, you will have 2 options to choose from: For the theme – you choose between the light or dark version. For the language – the choose between Russian or English.
“API keys/accounts” section
When you click on the “API keys /accounts” item, you will be taken to the section where you can configure the connection of the diary to the account on the cryptocurrency exchange and the prop account. The service starts tracking and collecting transactions after adding keys.
Crypto API Keys adding
Here you can add API keys to link the diary to an account on a cryptocurrency exchange. At the moment, the connection to the Binance and FTX exchanges has been implemented. You can find detailed instructions on adding API keys here.
Prop accounts adding
Similar to the previous point, this setting allows you to connect the diary to a prop account for collecting transactions on the Moscow Exchange.
“Settings” section
The next section contains settings directly related to the trader's account, which affects the trader's security.
E-mail changing
The trader can change the e-mail to log in to the diary. To do this, you need to specify a new email address, as well as your current password. After entering a new e-mail, click on “Send". A letter with instructions on completing the address change will be sent to the specified email address.
Telegram linking
You can link a Telegram account to the Diary. In the future, thanks to this, you will be able to enter the Trader's Diary directly from the Telegram-bot.
Password changing
Here you can change the diary login password. To change, enter the current password and then the new one. Then click on “Change".
Time zone changing
You can adjust the time zone for yourself. The specified time will be displayed in the transactions recorded by the diary.
After clicking on the "Change" button, a selection window opens with all the available time zones. Select the desired one and click on it. The data is saved automatically.
Account deleting
You can delete your account from the diary database. When deleted, all information is erased: e-mail, transaction history and comments on them.
To delete an account, click on “Delete account". A pop-up window appears and there you need to accept the deletion terms, and then click on the "Delete" button.
Logging out of an account
If you need to log out of the diary account, you can use the special "Logout" button. After clicking it, to log back into the diary, you will need to re-enter your data with an e-mail and password.
Balance display
On the left of the profile icon there is a counter that displays the trader's balance. At the moment, this figure shows the amount of USDT on the Binance exchange futures wallet. To display the balance, click on the eye icon.
In the future, this functionality will be expanded.
Diary basement
The basement of the diary deserves special attention. It contains links to some useful articles dedicated to the diary, links to trading chats and a YouTube channel.
In addition, there is a feedback form in the basement. The recall button is highlighted in blue. You can send the Trader's Diary team a report on the errors found, improvements suggestions and other comments. We, the Diary development team, will be glad to hear from you.
