The "Crypto Diary" contains a table of completed transactions that are grouped into trades. Trade is a fully completed series of related transactions. It not only shows how much you earned or lost, but also takes into account all transaction costs - commissions, funding, and so on.
Table of trades
You can expand any trade to see the individual deals it includes. Additionally, you can view the trade on a chart, add a comment to it, and share the trade with other traders. The links to trades will remain active for a year.
You can also expand/collapse the last trade using the hotkeys "shift+space"
Properties of trade
The table settings
The table has the following settings for displayed information:
"Setting up table colums" - change the number of columns in the table.
"Time Interval Detailing" - is the combination of deals based on specific parameters.
"Period selection" - selecting the time frame for displaying transactions.

You can sort the entire table by the columns "Time", "PnL", and "PnL%" by clicking on the column name.
Setting trade times
In the Diary, trade times are displayed according to the user's set time zone. By default, the UTC+0 time zone is used.
You can adjust the time zone to your preference. To do this, go to settings, find the "Timezone" section, and click on the "Change" button.
A window with time zones will open. Choose the desired one and click on it. The data will be saved automatically.
PnL calculation
PnL stands for Profit and Loss, which a trader incurs over a specific period. In the Journal, the PnL calculation follows this formula:
PnL = Selling price - Buying price - Commission - Funding. Where: Buying price is the price at which the trader purchased the asset. Selling price is the price at which the trader sold the asset. Commission is the fee paid by the trader to the exchange for executing the trade. Funding is the fee paid by the trader to the exchange for maintaining a balance on perpetual futures contracts. Funding can be either positive or negative.
By default, both commission and funding are included in the PnL calculation. You can adjust these settings. To do so, go to "Settings" and find the "PnL calculation" option.
You can choose to consider only the commission, only the funding, or disable both for PnL calculations.
Updating the table
You can add new trades to the table by using the "Refresh" button in the upper right corner of the page.
You can also use the hotkey combination "ctrl+space" to force-update the exchange data.
Loading oldest trades into the table is carried out using the "Load previously" button at the bottom of the page.
Additional capabilities
Reason trade
"Reason" - setting for displaying trades based on a specific reason. You can specify an existing reason in the table or create your own.
The best deals and visual analytics
In the "Crypto Diary", there are tools for analyzing trades:
"Top 5" shows the top 5 trades of all time. "Visual analytics" visually displays trades and their PnL. More details on how this section works were discussed in the article Visual analytics: setup and usage guide.
Trade export
On the "Crypto-Diary" tab, you can download trades in CSV formats for Excel and Google Sheets. To do this, click on the "Downloads" icon in the top right corner.
Additionally, an export in PDF format is available. The report can be generated with a single click, it's formatted for A4 size, and convenient for sharing or printing.
Currently, the report is available for a single trading day. To download the PDF report, click on the "Downloads" icon next to the trading day date.
Photos and videos
The function allows you to attach photos and videos to trades, not limited to just links. When closing trades, upload screenshots of charts or add comments about your analysis and decisions made.
Adding deals to favorites
The function allows you to add trades to favorites and display only them. This will help quickly find and analyze successful strategies for replication.
