HOW TO CONNECT DIARY TO Bybit EXCHANGE

Connecting Diary to Bybit
Important: if you do not have an account on the Finance exchange yet, register using our referral link to get the maximum discount on the commission!
On the official Bybit website, click on the user icon and click “API”.
Then click on the "Create New Key" button in the right corner.
In the opened window, select "System-generated API Keys"
Next, we need to select "Connect to Third-Party Applications" and enter "Traders Diaries" in the "Application Name" field.
Next, scrolling down, you need to select "Read-Only" in the "API Key Permissions" field. Additionally, you should check the box next to "Standard Account" (this will automatically select the sections "Orders", "Positions", "USDC Derivatives Trading" and "Trade").
After setting the parameters, click on the "Submit" button, a window with your keys will appear, copy them to connect to the diary.
Note: For security reasons, the API key will be displayed only once. After closing the window, the API will be inaccessible. Please save the key in a secure location.
Log in to the diary, go to the "Connection" section.
In the "Crypto API keys" section, select the Bybit exchange and enter your keys.
Click "Add". That's it, the process of adding keys will occur.
Technical questions
If you have successfully connected the API keys to the diary but no trades are found, first make sure that the diary conditions are met:
If all conditions have been met, then proceed as follows:
1) Check whether there is a transaction history on the exchange itself. If you have nothing there, then there is nothing for the Diary to upload
2) Disable IP restriction in the key settings
3) Refresh the page (ctrl+F5 combination)
4) Also refresh the deals by clicking on the "Refresh" button in the top right-hand corner of the page
If the above actions do not bring results, contact our support service.
- The diary only works with Binance, FTX and Bybit open-ended futures.
- Spot platforms aren’t supported.
- Trades must be formed in trade (close at zero).
If all conditions have been met, then proceed as follows:
1) Check whether there is a transaction history on the exchange itself. If you have nothing there, then there is nothing for the Diary to upload
2) Disable IP restriction in the key settings
3) Refresh the page (ctrl+F5 combination)
4) Also refresh the deals by clicking on the "Refresh" button in the top right-hand corner of the page
If the above actions do not bring results, contact our support service.
Make sure you have an activated futures account. Specify "read only" in the key permissions, also allow access from all IP addresses.
Check that the API key details are correct and try again.
If you are connecting keys to Binance, activate the futures wallet on the exchange website.
If you used Google browser to create the key, change to another browser and recreate the keys.

Due to the specific nature of the ByBit exchange, in order for the Diary to download the trading history of an instrument, a trade in that instrument must be executed once the API keys have been connected.
Example: You have activated the Diary and you need the full history of your trades on BTC\USDT. Make a trade on this instrument, and the history of your trades will appear in the Diary.

In the Profile window, under "Account and security" there is a "Time zone" item. Here you can set the time displayed in your diary's trades.
